Your Kid's Urgent Care is open 7 days a week. Currently, the Vestavia location is open Monday - Friday 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm; and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Franchise Development Specialist supports the Partners with franchise responsibilities from the discovery phase to the opening of new clinics. This position also assists with the opening of new corporate locations. The Franchise Development Specialist supports the President at the Vestavia Clinic and occasionally works at the Vestavia Clinic.


The primary duties and responsibilities of this position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Takes inbound communications from prospective franchisees qualifying them via approved strategies ensuring the proper analysis and recommendation.
  • Plans and coordinates Discovery Days with prospective franchisees and internal stakeholders including post-Discovery Day analysis and follow-up.
  • Collects and maintains critical and confidential franchisee information including but not limited to, financials, corporate entity filing documents, insurance certificates, and lease agreements.
  • Provides excellent customer support to franchisees.
  • Sets up, organizes, and maintains project files throughout the development process.
  • Tracks and maintains the progress of each franchisee as they move through the onboarding process. Continually improves franchisee onboarding process, resources, etc.
  • Coordinates training activities with the appropriate individuals and ensures that all training materials and resources have been provided the appropriate parties
  • Coordinates resources and support from outside Consultants for franchisees.
  • Tracks and facilitates the progression of the issuance and execution processes of various agreements, including follow-up for missing documents, payments, approvals, releases from escrow, etc.
  • Maintains reporting and records regarding franchisee’s compliance with our minimum insurance requirements.
  • Provides excellent internal and external communications.
  • Displays dignity and respect to everyone – co-workers, patients, vendors and visitors. This includes respectful interactions with others; refraining from abusive language or other disrespectful behaviors; and a commitment to work in a collaborative environment.

BS/BA degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, or similar from a four-year accredited university or college; plus, two years of related experience required.
